The PHYSIOCHOC® technology allows the dispersion of the energy generated by the foot in contact with the ground. By raising the heels of 5mm, The Heel Lift may well dissipate the energy generated by the shock ‘ground/foot’ while walking, therefore decrease the plantar tension.

The inserted patch of EPITHELIUM 26® brings an additional comfort to the device.

A double-sided adhesive shall keep them in place in the shoe.

Life span: several months.

They are not washable.

Why heel spur causes pain?

A heel X-ray shows often (50% of cases) the presence of a bone spine of the calcaneus directed to the forefoot. Some think that this thorn, called "heel spur" is itself the source of the pain. But it's not true. The spur is just a consequence of excessive traction exerted on the fascia, tendon connecting the forefoot to the heel. In fact, the pressure exerted and creating on the heel bone is a natural process to reduce the tension between the calcaneal tendon and forefoot.

Who is affected by heel spurs?

The plantar fasciitis is favored by different factors such as remain standing for several hours, practicing certain sports, flat foot, the use of some type of footwear especially with excess weight and age.

What to do when there is already pain?

When pain is present, the anti-inflammatory infiltration continues to be the only effective response for fast relief. If the pain is related to certain type of activity the suspension of it is recommended. To prevent the recurrence, it is important to decrease tendon tension
using HEEL LIFTS and lose weight.
