What is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

Carpal tunnel syndrome sucks by compression of the median nerve at the wrist level in the carpal tunnel. This syndrome is characterized by:
› Tingling or numbness that usually arises during sleep or after awakening;
› Weakness in wrist and hand;
› Pain radiating to the forearm;
› Decreased fingertip sensitivity.

Risk factors

In the occupational context, tasks involving repetitive handwork are the most risky (packaging, sewing, cleaning, driving…), as well as those that expose workers to vibration or cold.
Similar gestures, performed in a home or leisure environment, can produce the same effects (gardening, DIY, sports…).

CARP’IMMO™ | Rigid orthosis that keeps the wrist in a neutral position during rest

CARP'IMMO ™ Rigid Orthosis is indicated for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, musculoskeletal disorders or wrist tendonitis whenever we are at rest. It is a solution designed to protect your wrist at night by avoiding postures that increase pressure on the carpal tunnel, such as bending your wrist to place your hand under the cushion.

Thanks to its semi-rigid anatomical reinforcements, the orthosis keeps the wrist at rest all night long, preventing pain on waking and during the day.

Very comfortable, light and ultra thin. Features a strap that allows a perfect and smooth fit around the wrist.

It is hand washable at 30 ° C, with non-aggressive soap and without detergent or bleach.
